This BUS Ring design is particularly suitable for the drive axles of city buses, as well as regional buses and medium-duty trucks when traction and good wear resistance are required. It can also be used as an all-position universal design.
It was designed for use involving frequent braking, restarts, and chafing against sidewalks. Three longitudinal grooves ensure directional
stability, reinforced shoulders with block design ensure traction and increase resistance to lateral friction leading to decreased tread wear on mixed and winding routes.
